We’ve just spend a month or so exploring Peru and it did not disappoint. One of the highlights was visiting Machu Picchu via the Inca Trail, which was amazing. We were even lucky enough to experience a rare snow storm that happens maybe once a year as we crossed Dead Woman’s pass. Our guide was beyond excited to walk through the snow over the 14,000 ft. pass. For us, it took a little bit more convincing but after we completed the journey, I can say that it was an amazing experience. In Peru it seemed like we were walking up and over at least one mountain pass above 10,000 feet a day, but it was always worth it! Our time in Peru was so much better than we ever hoped for and we definitely hope to return.
We’ve included footage from our Inca Trail trek, Rainbow Mountain trek, the Nazca Lines flight, Huacachina sand dunes, and even a special clip of a massive condor flying over the Colca Canyon. Peru is a beautiful country that every person should add to their bucket list of places to see! Enjoy!
P.S.
If a Peruvian ever tells you that a trail is “Inca flat” or even “flat” don’t believe them. Every trail in Peru consists of at least 1,000 ft. elevation change, but it is always worth the effort!

I come to the site every few days to watch this! It is so incredibly well done! I love how you film it from your perspective so it feels like I am riding across the sand in that buggy with you… and the airplane. The photos really capture the moment and the time lapse of the hikers is my favorite. Are you filming all of this with your go-pro? I need lessons lol! Keep up the good work, the photos are wonderful, but the videos make me feel like I’m spending time with you guys!
Thanks Kristi!!! I’m having fun learning how to film while we travel. I mostly am using the go pro, but will also use the video that my DSLR camera takes.
