One of our last stops on our South America tour was in Puerto Madryn, Argentina. This was an epic place for spotting wildlife, especially this time of year when the Southern Right Whales are migrating through. We got to see the mothers and their calves up close before they headed south again! We also spotted Elephant Seals, Penguins, black and white Commerson dolphin, and the Patagonian Ostrich. One of the best experiences was swimming and playing with wild sea lions! They were so cute and curious and playful, it was one of the highlights of our time in South America.
We didn’t see the famous killer whales of Puerto Madryn but it was an amazing few days all the same!
